I haven’t posted an e’session in a while. I had a small break over winter, which usually leaves time for shooting e’sessions for upcoming weddings as I suddenly find myself with a weekend free. For Ken & Viv’s e’session I bundled up and flew on down to Melbourne. We drove close to 2 hours to a nearby ski field, unfortunately about a 1000000 other people (maybe a slight exaggeration) had the same idea. Luckily enough we were the last car let through for the day so we were able to have a small window at the snow.
I was surprised how warm it was with the sun out. Melbourne was bitterly cold in the morning in the city. It was a great time, a lot of fun as you’ll see in the photos following. Thanks K + V for putting up with me for the long drive there and back, for feeding me and for generally being fun, awesome people!

Back in December, I was down in Melbourne photographing Andrew & Sonia’s wonderful wedding. Earlier when I was down in Melbourne we chatted and also photographed their e’session. The rain held off for the parts it should and a beautiful day followed. Here’s a few quick frames from their lovely day…
Many thanks for being such wonderful clients <3
More photos here for guests and family. (passcode is Sonia’s maiden name)
Back on the 10th of September, Sam & Leigh had their gorgeous Brisbane wedding. When I was up there earlier for Fergus & Amy’s wedding, I met up with them and they had their e’session. We walked around southbank an they showed me where their wedding was going to be. They had their gorgeous ceremony at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre 0r QPAC overlooking southbank river and a short walk up to the ceremony at the Gallery of Modern Art or GOMA 🙂
Many thanks to S+L for inviting me up to be a part of their beautiful day!

I have so many beautiful shoots I need to blog coming up, I’m looking at them feeling very blessed with the people that cross my path.
Simon & Katie were such people. Their wedding was the 2nd wedding I did down in Melbourne in March gone by. When I was down in Melbourne near the end of last year for a workshop, I got to know them a little better on their e’session.
They had their ceremony at The Dome on Collins St, near the heart of town. From the front of it, it looks like a typical office-building entrance, but the foyer opens out to a beautiful old domed chamber which used to be where people banked their gold back in that era. It was just amazing. After some photos down on a very windy and quite cold Brighton Beach, we celebrated their reception at The Baths, at Middle Brighton.
A big thanks to Will from Red Sparrow Photography for helping take photos and hold things.
thankyou for a gorgeous gorgeous day <x

Shauntelle & Jon returned to Melbourne for their wedding day earlier last month. I was elated to be asked to join them. They had their gorgeous Melbourne Wedding ceremony at St Xaviers College Chapel in Kew, before making their way over to the reception venue; Peninsula C in Docklands. We had a great time with their earlier e’session in Sydney, so I knew their wedding would be amazing. I loved witnessing all the fun, tears and happiness for their day.
Thanks to Will from Red Sparrow Photography for helping me capture their day.
Shauntelle was gorgeous and her dress was incredible!
I love autumn colours, I could shoot for weeks with an autumn backdrop…
their reception setup was amazing! 260 odd guests makes for one heck of a party!
during Jon’s speech, he sang a song to Shauntelle that he wrote for her…
thankyou thankyou thankyou for taking me to Melbourne for a stunning day guys!
the rest of their photos are available here for guests.
